On Thursday, May 2, and Friday, May 3, some of the parallel sessions take place in the UCK building, rooms 114 and 115. Follow the blue line to get there from University Hall.

On Friday, May 3, the conference dinner takes place at the Paushuize. Follow the red line to get there from University Hall.

Directions and Transport

From the Airport in Amsterdam (Schiphol), there are regular trains going to Utrecht. Take an Intercity (not a Sprinter as, despite their name, the Sprinter is slow). You can buy train tickets in the station hall near the escalators going down to the tracks. Do not forget to check in your ticket at one of the yellow check-in boxes (and check out in Utrecht).

By foot

Walk towards the Dome Tower; it’s a 12 minutes’ walk. Click to see the map

By bus

#2 direction “Museumkwartier” to “Domplain”; #28 direction “De Uithof” to “Janskerhof” and walk 5 minutes towards the Dome Tower; any other bus that stops at “Janskerhof”. Note that bus tickets can be purchased in the bus but paid for only by card.

Like cycling? Although everything is close by in Utrecht, if your hotel or airbnb happens to be a bit further away, ask at the hotel or your host whether they provide you with a bike for the time of your stay. If not, you can easily rent a bike for EUR 7.50 per day here: http://www.laagcatharijne.nl/en/bicycle-rental/rent-a-city-bike.

Accommodation

Conference attendees are responsible for their own accommodation in Utrecht. Note that Utrecht can get busy so it is recommended to make hotel reservations in time.
